Greater Magic Essence splitting to Lesser when bags full

Description: I had 10x Greater Magic Essence and one free slot in my bags. When I right clicked on the Greaters, one of them splits into 3x Lesser Magic Essence. I can do this until I have 9x Lesser. I right-click on the Greaters one more time, it gives me 1x Lesser and the other two disappear into the ether, since Lessers stack to 10x and I had no other bag spaces. If I try to right-click on the Greaters again, after the Lesser stack is full with 10x, the game tells me "not enough bag space", but it should be doing this when the stack is at 9x. I suspect this will happen with other enchanting mats of this type as well?

Current behaviour: I lose 2x Lesser Magic Essence if I try to split a greater and there are no bag spaces for the overflow after filling my 9x stack of Lessers.

Expected behaviour: Expect the message "Inventory is full" when my bags are full and my Lesser Magic Essence stack is larger than 7x (since the cap is 10, and right-clicking a Greater generates 3).
