Description:
Falling into the void teleports you to the nearest graveyard unharmed. This can be exploited to avoid death in PvP for example, or to quickly travel near to a desired location.
Current behaviour:
Whenever a player falls off of Outland or clips under the ground, dying in the void teleports him immediately to the nearest graveyard with no durability loss.
Expected behaviour:
After falling a long distance, the player reaches the kill barrier where he dies immediately. His body travels a bit depending on if he was moving laterally. When he body stops moving, the 'release spirit' button is enabled. Upon releasing spirit, the player can find his body on the outskirts of Outland near where he died. I am not sure how retail determined where the player's body should be. This can be tested on retail to be sure, as that mechanic has likely never changed since 2.0.
