this requires a core system to be implemented
as for the dismounting blast, recently I saw a clip from classic (sodapopin channel) where he was literally spammed to death by the dismounting blasts and hit for 50, but he couldnt move because he was permanently "blasted to a wall".
the aggro range... i increased that intentionally to eliminate safe spots in booty bay

Here I found your clip of the streamer being wallblasted to death, this seemed to happen because he attacked from an unreachable spot and then being knocked to a hard reachable spot.

This happened a few hours earlier. The guard can path to him from the start and does so.
Also, let me repeat: I don't care how often they do the knockback shot, I want them run into melee when they can.
You want them to melee so that people can gank newbies with a ranged attack before dropping aggro and laughing about it?
Leave the behavior as-is and maybe increase the damage along with adding a root and some nasty debuffs/dots to prevent stealthing/vanishing. I don't see any reason to nerf guards in neutral areas.
Rev 4018 - still an issue This also affects the bruisers at Ratchet, Everlook, and Gadgetzan
They are aggroing/swarming the offender just fine though from what I can see, honestly their aggro range might be too big currently.
Description: The behaviour of booty bay bruisers (and maybe also the ones in other goblin cities) is wrong. And I'm not even speaking about their aggro range of a fuck ton.
Current behaviour: Bruisers always use their ranged attack+knockback on player, even when they're able to walk up to them.
Only the base guards spawn, no swarming happens.
Expected behaviour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEPcg-Q-LC0
As seen throughout the whole video the bruisers should try to go to melee with the player. Also, a bruiser should spawn each time when a non-bruiser npc is attacked by a player at unfriendly or lower, as seen at 0:24.
Yes, the video is from wotlk, but there have been no changes to bruisers apart from adjusting their health, damage and level for new expansions.
