Weapon swap during channeling #7022

Description: Cannot swap weapons when channeling Evocation even though it should be possible

Current behaviour: While channeling spell such as Evocation, weapons cannot be swapped and you will always get message “Cannot do that now”

Expected behaviour: It’s possible to swap weapon when channeling spell

Why should it be possible? You cannot swap when casting spells.

Evocation might have been the exception in TBC retail but need evidence/proof. This definitely works out of combat however. Note that outfitter has an evocation setup that should equip weapons when you cast it but fails because of GCD.

According to this you should be able to weapon swap during channeling.

From patch 2.4.3 patch notes:

Equipping an item will now cancel any spell cast currently in progress.
