Problem: Blacksmithing Profession Recipe Issue
Specifics: Azertoth Blacksmithing NPCs not training certain learnable recipes
Blacksmithing NPCs in Azeroth (tested in Orgrimmar) are not training certain recipes that no longer require a specialization as of TBC Patch 2.0 with comments from WoWhead (and other community posts on similar database sites) confirming they were trainable as of the day of Patch 2.0 release. These recipes were made available to ANY blacksmith regardless of specialization.
They are properly trainable by the Outland NPCs (regardless of specialization) yet the Azeroth NPCs have not been updated. Since these recipes are for pre-Outland characters, it makes it a moot point to have to wait until Outland to learn them.
If you check the comments on wowhead, as of patch 2.0 (TBC patch) they no longer required a specialization to learn those.
Similar bug reports have been marked 'invalid' without any explanation as to why they were invalid.
I'd like to request that this long-standing issue be fixed, especially since many players still enjoy doing Vanilla content and would like to take advantage of proper working Azeroth NPCs to learn recipes as they level.
