Why this can't be done

  1. Not activating Windows doesn't let you personalize it, among other things.
  2. Not activating caused problems and bugs with AME, apparently one bug was that the activation watermark would stick around forever.
  3. Atlas prevents you from activating after applying the playbook, so we might as well force people to do it beforehand.

Someone needs to come and close this we've heard this complaint many times before.

Not true, there is ways to get around this, which I have made guides on before... but it can get scarily close to telling people how to pirate so I guess you could be correct. Haven't tried opening the activation page on Atlas yet tbh
