Data and species page confusion caused by homonym - Mitrella #151

Mitrella is both a plant https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://id.biodiversity.org.au/node/apni/2918675#tab_recordsView as well as a gastropod https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://biodiversity.org.au/afd/taxa/a8b6e61e-fe53-4019-9e85-4a95a8476607 .On the plant page, the common name and images are both for the gastropod. Also the data is for the gastropod in mainland Australia, but for the plant in PNG. For the gastropod, all information appears to be correct.

Just to clarify - by this "Also the data is for the gastropod in mainland Australia, but for the plant in PNG." - do you mean that Australian gastropod records are being assigned to the plant genus, while PNG plant species are being correctly assigned to the plant genus. And no plant record are being incorrectly assigned to the gastropod genus?

For at least some of the gastropod observations that have ended up in the plant record - that's due to an error in the production taxonomy. Mitrella pulla came from CAAB, and in the taxonomy was attached to the wrong genus. https://bie.ala.org.au/species/24203032#classification

This issue doesn't occur in development, as the Mitrella pulla is no longer in the taxonomy. Should match to Mitrella when the higher taxonomy is supplied. Same for the other gastropod occurrence records that have been mis-assigned. It total four species from CAAB were assigned to the wrong genus - M. legrandi, M.vincta, M. pulla, and M. dictua

Taxonomy still correct but distribution data cannot be checked in BIE - leaving this one in checking for now
