The relationship between Boronia acanthoclada and Cyanothamnus acanthocladus is in the APNI relationship list and that "reverse synonym" is working - that is Cyanothamnus acanthocladus is marked as a synonym of Boronia acanthoclada. The refined conservation list still has the entry for Boronia acanthoclada as a synonym of Cyanothamnus acanthocladus but this linkage is presumably dropped in favour of the information from APNI.
Correctly refers to APC agreed name in tactical taxonomy
Non APC synonym has not linked back to APC name
Retain as an example to test: Boronia acanthoclada Paul G.Wilson is APC accepted, but was redescribed in 2023 as Cyanothamnus acanthocladus (Paul G.Wilson) Duretto & Heslewood. Tactical taxonomy is failing to make the link between the two taxa (link is made in the conservation list, but presumably gets taken out in refinement process). Presumably an issue with APNI and APC files - but a useful test for future.
