There are a number of instances where the gallery for one species includes images for another related species (that is also in the ALA). EG

The gallery for Geleznowia amabilis and G. verrucosa includes the same species https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://id.biodiversity.org.au/name/apni/51354206#gallery and https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://id.biodiversity.org.au/node/apni/2906453#gallery

The same for Schoenoplectiella mucronata and S. humillima: https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://id.biodiversity.org.au/node/apni/7129958#gallery and https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://id.biodiversity.org.au/name/apni/8816023#gallery

The problem here is the Inferred Accepted IDs resolve to genus level. This means that all species level images are included.

Genus level matching can be confirmed using the name matching API e.g. https://namematching-ws-test.ala.org.au/api/getByTaxonID?taxonID=https%3A%2F%2Fid.biodiversity.org.au%2Fname%2Fapni%2F8816023
