BioNet Atlas of NSW Wildlife #165

Open charvolant opened 8 years ago

I just had a look and I can see one main issue with the data mapping:

· Occurrence record: BioNet Atlas of NSW Wildlife:SIXRI0952891

· Says that Dataset name = Bionet.DwC.csv

· However in source data dataset name = StateForestsEEC Vegetation Survey

Other notes:

· On the co-ordinate precision, we give a whole number to represent the number of decimal places. So you can covert 9 to equal 0.000000001

· Where is informationWithheld field? I would expect to see this

· georeferenceProtocol is given, I see its noted as missing. Null means that there is no protocol we are aware of. Where it has been taking using a GPS device we note this with ‘GPS’

From meeting 13/1/2016 • R1.1 of web service in final testing, expect go live in Feb. Very keen for ALA to be early adopter for harvesting data from us (NSW OEH),

Fixed coordinate precision, informationWithheld. Sent update to James. The web service seems to fail beyond 15000 records at the moment. The talend job uses the nextRequest field to chain requests, 1000 at a time, which is how the web service likes it. Beyond 15 iterations, a 400 error is returned, although it looks like there are more records available.

Successful pull without 400 error. Will load when mccartney pulls its socks up.
