The system is incorrectly matching the subspecies Caladenia vulgaris nunguensis to the species Caladenia vulgaris. This is legitimate in the context of ALA because our instance of APC/APNI is several years out of date and the version we have doesn’t recognise things named post mid 2019
Doug looked into C vulgaris nungensis on APNI/APC and it doesn’t seem to be in there. If we add it to the list when we make the new name index, it should come through into the ALA index, appropriately attached below C. vulgaris.
However, suggests that we get everything into a running state, so that we don’t have to deal with any problems caused by it polluting the SDS and then add it for the future.
We don’t seem to have any records with that name in the ALA at the moment, anyway.
