I only use the ALA web site to submit records now & then. I find it very opaque to use. The Home page should have a prominent button to LOG IN. All you have is an inconspicuous link tucked away in a corner to "User Settings". Not self-evident that that is where you log in. Then when you log it, you get the same Home page again! There should then be a big button to SUBMIT RECORDS. All you have is a button that says 'Get Involved'. Again not self-evident, to one who only uses the site every 6 months or so, that that is the choice to submit a record.

PLEASE redesign the web site to make it more user-friendly! Have someone who has never used the site before helping you.

After logging in to ALA, on the initial screen one sees, one should be presented with a clear link to View Submitted Records. I'm not sure how to see what I've already submitted, other than to click the Submit Record button.

I'd have to agree that 'User settings' is not an obvious place to find where to log in... this kind of feedback from external users is valuable.
