possible datum shift?,

"...the species maps are not aligning to the background map utilised in the spatial portal.

A number of maps appear to be offset to the south-east.

e.g. Apoychotrema rostrata

It looks like a 10-20km shift south/SE so I doubt it can be datum difference which amount to meters between say GDA94 and WGS84.

double check geoserver/geotiff wms tiles alignment
