Load Layer: Global Human Settlement layers #91

This is excellent standardized global data that will be of great use (and will be added to one would assume). See http://ghsl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/datasets.php. Please add

  1. GHS Built-up grid (1975, 1990, 2000, 2014) preferably 250m grid but 1km if very hard
  2. GHS Population grid (1975, 1990, 2000, 2015) preferably 250m but 1km if very hard
  3. GHS Settlement grid (1975, 1990, 2000, 2015) 1km grid

An option for 1,2 is to cookie cut the Australian region (inc NZ, PNG) at 250m.

Just noted from National Infrastructure Roadmap 2016 "p.48 What we need … Further development of ALA to include new data streams such as trait data, built environments ..."
