Text disappearing from edited profiles #627

go to this profile: https://aws-profiles.ala.org.au/opus/foa/profile/Agapanthus%20praecox
- enter edit mode and add a reasonable sentence to the end of a current attribute text.
- Save then go to public view... sometimes the text is cut off (usually the first time the field is edited).
- if the text is okay, try re-entering edit mode and manually (as in using the backspace key) delete the added text...
- Save then go to public view... some of the "deleted" text will still be there.

Note: re-editing the attribute will eventually sort things out (and it then doesn't appear to happen again)

I can't reproduce. Any particular browser or additional steps to reproduce it?

Hard to reproduce. It was easy to reproduce on aws. I am not sure if aws has been updated with my fix.

It wasn't yesterday, I made sure I could see the code before your changes.

now aws has latest changes and is working as expected. I also checked response to Simon's comment so I'm happy to move this to test.

I could consistently reproduce this problem by adding text, moving to a different cursor position, deleting a character and then quickly hitting Save. An added symptom was that the Save button would immediately become selectable again (ie: not greyed out) after it was clicked.

With this in mind, I am no longer able to recreate this problem and consider it fixed.
