Scientific name UX is confusing #4

As reported by a user - they pasted the scientific name into the name box but did NOT select the autocomplete option (slow connection maybe).

sighting error

This needs fixing to either allow the field to behave as a regular input or some other fix to improve UX.

Idea: if user enters name in input and then the input loses focus, trigger JS code to lookup the value and auto-select the species OR error if species is not found.

Could even show modal with possible options to choose from.
