Lists are able to contain additional data e.g. Ability to add / remove columns in lists without impacting on associated applications (including traits, indigenous names etc)

The action of deleting / updating data in the lists can have downstream issues as there are often links between lists and other processes in ALA. Therefore, adding / removing columns or content can potentially have significant implications for other applications.

My only suggestion on this is supporting some tagging of lists so that we can indicate a list is in use by "BioCollect" for example.

Setting these tags would be the responsibility of the owner and/or editor of the list. They could also be set via an API (with access control).
