If we are using the lists tool to store IEK names then this issue should not be a technical problem as any fields can be defined in an uploaded list. This is more of a workflow/process issue to ensure that any list flagged (how ever that is done in issue #98) has the fields required before it is so marked and used as a source of IEK names.
Check that all GBIF standard fields are covered in the schema, otherwise Lists allow any number of customised fields so this can technically be done.
As an IEK knowledge holder I need ALA to capture specific information about each term in a language So that the IEK terms can be used and displayed within the ALA.
Field definitions are provided on the confluence page in the section titled Field definitions - https://confluence.csiro.au/display/ALASD/Indigenous+language+names+for+plants+and+animals+in+ALA#IndigenouslanguagenamesforplantsandanimalsinALA-FieldDefinitionFielddefinition
