1) you did not fill out the issue templates correctly 2) upload the fatal error report file that was saved.
Sorry about that. Stand by. I'm new to this and it wouldn't let me post what I was trying to post.
did i do that right?
the template is a tad bit confusing. would you be so kind as to tell me what all info you need? i will be glad to give you anything you need, i just dont know how to abide by the template. just a bit confusing to me, is all. otherwise, id follow it to a T. this issue has been one of the worst ive faced.
No, that error is unrelated to the one I want you to upload.
When the screen you describe ("abort occurred") shows, it will tell you the filename it saved information to. Upload that file, please.
Also note that this issue tracker is for bugs, not for support.
like this, sir? this is from that error message. i followed the path it had on it.
You have a corrupt PRODINFO/system save.
Follow the instructions/directions in #1256 for guidance. You'll need to restore a non-corrupt backup and/or delete the system settings savedata.
I tried using the guide but got confused on where to find those files to delete. I'm sorry if I'm being a pest. I just want to really fix this and get back to gaming...
