iphone or wiimote analog support? #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Are you planning on adding analog support for those games that can use it
(arkanoid etc.), either by using the Wiimote's accelerometer, the iphone's
accelerometer or simply the touch-screen on the iphone? I know the Wii classic
controller is supported and setting up accelerometers with them may be a bit
more difficult to implement, but a simple slide-bar or track zone on the screen
would be good for single-axis analog games or dual-axis analog games
respectively? I'd love to be able to play racing games, bat-and-ball games and
track games like missile command with a bit more control from the iphone itself
without the need to break out a classic controller.

Good idea.... maybe in a future version.

Excellent addition as I can now play racing games, Missile Command and Arkanoid
with decent analog control. One issue though is that because it utilises the
same joystick touch area, the sensitivity is a bit high and varies massively
between games. A larger track zone would be ideal though I appreciate this may
take a fair bit of addition as to be effective it would need to replace the
whole control panel area (so maybe a future addition?). All I'd request in the
meantime is that a couple of extra analog sensitivity settings be added in the
options, or the maximum and minimum sensitivity boundaries be changed slightly.

Great work and the compatibility remains great, later releases have reduced
random crashes I used to get mid-game when using Wiimotes and my TV so well
done, whatever has been changed.

The analog sensitivity can be changed in inner mame options... As desktop mame.
I have changed a lot to get some roms playable.
