The travis ci has been doing this for a while.

btw it is time to discard SDL 1.x.

+1 I don't understand why people are so silent when talking about deprecating the DOS build, since the old code is always in the git history for the enthusiasts.

That's true. I think it's probably just regular superstition. I think trying to build today's IVAN codebase for DOS would be a nightmare without going back to the right point in the git repo history (wonder when that was by the way). I vote we depart fully from DJGPP compatibility.
