Effects dropdown is cleared on "ENTER" pressed, not on message sent and received

Describe the bug The effects dropdown is cleared on an "ENTER" keypress event instead of only resetting with the other widgets when a message is sent and received again by the client.

To reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Select an effect (or press "Realization")
2. Press enter to send a message while another message's stay_time has not yet elapsed, i.e. right after it is received
3. See error

Expected behavior Realization button state is not cleared when this happens, so effects dropdown should not be cleared either
