The issue

There has been little investigation into Organization.contact and how well potential use cases are supported in the current profiles, Base Organization and Organization with Mandatory Identifier.
Investigation should be done and use cases defined to ensure appropriate representation of an organisation's contact information is possible. An organisation can have multiple contact points, each for a different purpose, such as patient record accuracy, clinical record accuracy or practitioner request for patient information.
What it actually enables people to do
Enables organisations to informatively represent the right contact details for the right purpose and thereby enabling the right people to easily get in touch with them.
## How awesome would it be?
Quite awesome. Organisations and interested parties will be able communicate more easily.
