Some Monterey and Ventura macOS deletes the Mac and Windows installer after ZIP download

Graillon-2-FREE-2.7.0.pkg simply will not install in macOS 13.6.1 and I get this in the logs: same proböem with Panagement-FREE-2.5.1

when i unzip t a bunch of .so files come up under auburn sounds the mac and windows folders empty

Last year I tried downloading the free edition, but only the manual and cheet.sheet appeared on my IMAC. Yesterday, I purchased the full version and paid a bit extra. When I tried to download some of the versions, I got the same problem as before.

User 1 had to unzip outside "Downloads" This is an issue that probably existed in a transient moment in Apple history

User 3 is on "Monterey" (no version given), say didn't see the Mac installer.

Workaround would be to maybe put the .pkg in a DMG in a ZIP? Or simply, wait that the issue disappear at Cupertino.

• [x] is everything notarized and pass mustard in the actual ZIP vs the .pkg only? Maybe something to code sign again? => I don't think so, Audio Damage puts a notarized in a .app in a ZIP in a ZIP with ZIP made by other systems, so the ZIP itself isn't any more codesigned/notarized than our own ZIP.
• [x] Voxengo: distributing codesigned (and notarized?) DMG just for macOS.
• [x] TDR: distributing single unnotarized pkg in unsigned unnotarized ZIP.
• [x] Need FAQ entry in Auburn Sounds, since it seems the problem fixed itself in Apple os. There isn't that much support issues for this. Real fix would be to do a tool that creates a DMG I guess.
