We anticipate 3rd party sites to allow for comments. We dont have plans to facilitate communication. There is ongoing conversations in discord and reddit.
Like sites like reporters.chat
Come to find out, v2 contracts will have an optional discussion field with disputes. So the option will be there.
Great. I didn't want to get into too much of an argument, but having them in-client provides a good Schelling point.

There's a serious lack of communication in disputes right now. I sometimes have no idea why people are disputing things a particular way. I think the situation could be improved by allowing people who stake REP on disputes to write a short comment explaining their reasoning. So for example: Alice disputes market X as invalid. She writes: "This market is impossible to resolve, because it's underspecified/can't be checked by an outsider/whatever". In the next round, when Bob sees this comment he can take it into account when deciding to dispute it again or not. In the current system it's often unclear what the disagreement even is.
