Custom Profile RGB effect of Desktop doesn't load in Windows Startup #226

Open ElChacko opened 2 months ago

ElChacko commented 2 months ago

Expected Behaviour (if not obvious)

Aurora Starts along with the Windows Startup and load my RGB Effect in my Keyboard on Desktop Profile.

Actual Behaviour

My Razer Keyboard doesn't load my Desktop Profile RGB Effects when Aurora starts in the Windows Startup and stays on the same frozen RGB effect when my computer shut down and closes the Aurora app. I need to click on "restart devices" manually.

Reproduction steps

1.- Turn on and log in with Windows. 2.- Wait to Aurora Starts. 3.- See no update on RGB in my Keyboard

Aurora Version:

v275

Previously an Issue?

I'd tried with the v1 version, the v265, and its the same. With the old versions of the aurora after v1 version doesn't happen.

It's probably because Aurora opens much before the Chroma SDK Service. I will add a check for service status

In the meantime you can increase the start delay of Aurora

Delaying 150 sec works as temporal solution! Thanks :)

Aytackydln commented 2 months ago

I added the check on last version. You can reduce it back now

ElChacko commented 2 months ago

I didn't know that the Razer Chroma SDK takes 2 minutes and 20 seconds to start. I just monitored it in the Windows Startup. I dont know if its my case or all the installs with only Aurora and Razer Chroma installed onto the Aurora app have the same situation. But this check in the new v276 fixes my problem.

Thanks for your help! :D/

That's quite long. You may also need to increase Connection timeout seconds in Razer (RGB.NET) options

With the default value of 120 i dont have problems with RGB.NET waiting to Razer Chroma service. But I raised it a little just in case.

Hello. With the latest change on v277 ("All device connection timeouts are reset to 200 seconds"), my problem comes back. Aurora tells me that the Keyboard are initialized, but the keyboard light stays on default mode (like no custom personalization), when stop and disable the service, and revert it back to enabled, my RGB Effect Profile on Aurora starts showing on my Keyboard.

I don't have delay on Aurora.
