Describe the issue

A character that has the deaf trait appearently loses it if they wear earmuffles with no hearing aids on.

How to reproduce

You need a deaf character and be wearing a "Clip-on radio" on your belt, Then put the earmuffles on and you'll be hearing yourself speak, aswell as other sounds.

For more detail, the clip-on radio i was using was for security cadets.
