Custom Item: Racing Stripes - comes off/prevents headset spawning #3166

Background summary: Racing Stripes is a custom item for my character, Ricochet. It's meant to spawn on the right ear, and remain there. It cannot be removed.

Issue 1: Coming in the middle of the shift at the Aurora, and walk-in autodrobe removes the Racing Stripes and places them in the personal possession box.

Issue 2: If you are transported to cyro (due to waiting for the shuttle that never comes) the racing stripes respawn over your left ear, preventing the headset from spawning in.

Can this item be reworked to not require a slot (if it's possible?) so it remains a part of the body regardless?

It has to be an item, but, I will handle this soon.

Someone gave me an idea: What if it's placed on the mask slot, instead of the ear slot? Mask slot is practically useless to IPCs anyway. That can at least take care of the headset issue. It if comes off on the autodrobe, I can just slip it back on.

The autodrobe should not remove this anymore, however, tell me if it is eating the headset still.

Well, I made a mistake.

The headset does not spawn in, because the racing stripes spawn over the headset slot, the left ear, if Ricochet enters mid-shift. Meaning that regardless, they'll eat the headset. They spawn properly on the right ear if spawned in at round-start from ready up.

The stripes are no longer being removed by the autodrobe.

I will see about it, but, using cryo instead of the shuttle should solve the issue with the headset.
