This is a modified and tested version of PR #35 from @xloem.
I have tested this against the latest bitcoin-sv node software for all five functions.
I haven't tested the part that uses the .cookie when there is no rpcuser or rpcpassword yet though...
Edit: I am going to merge this now (PR is just for clarity / documentation) - it has been waiting long enough... sorry.
Next step would be to connect it to the PrivateKey class in some intelligent way. I have a few ideas of how to do it but I think we could leave that for another PR.
