Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract)
Role Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract) will join a small team of engineering and product talent. You will inherit a service oriented architecture built on GCP with Kubernetes, CloudSQL, Terraform, Github Actions, Docker, Drone CI, and Redis. You will be working directly with a Senior Software Engineer on the team to get up to speed on and ultimately take ownership of the current infrastructure.
In order to be successful in this role you should have expertise in architecting and managing secure, scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes/Terraform/GCP. You are a strong evangelist of DevOps and SRE work and passionate about empowering the entire engineering team to contribute. You are consistently described as collaborative, a leader, great communicator, both verbally and in writing, and you deliver high quality code daily and lead by example.
This will start as a 20-40 hour per week role that has the opportunity to transition into full time if there is a mutual fit.
