Open Enterprise DAO creation stats

User story

For Autark to gain better insight into our reliability and growth, an internal reporting tool should be developed to track the stats of our Open Enterprise template.

Requirements

• A user should be able to paste in an etherscan URL (e.g. https://etherscan.io/address/0xc54c5db63ab0e79fbb9555373b969093deb17859 ) and hit enter. The application will determine whether Rinkeby or Mainnet based on the etherscan URL
• After hitting enter a report will be generated showing stats for the following time periods...
• Inception to date
• Per week stats - Sunday at 00:00 to Saturday at 11:59:59 UTC (e.g. if there are 8 weeks since inception, show the stats for the last 8 weeks in descending order)
• Last 4 weeks (total up the numbers for the last 4 weeks)

Stats

• # Successful
• # Failed
• Total (# failed + # successful)
• Failure rate (# failed / # total)

DAO list

For each open enterprise DAO creation attempt, display a table that is similar to https://apiary.1hive.org/orgs - with additional columns of:

• Status (failed / successful) - maybe some in between status for 1 successful + 1 failed txn
• DAO creator ethereum address (hyperlink to etherscan)

How to define what a failure is

• Successful DAO creations is detected by two transactions from the same address, usually occurring within a short time span
• A failure is usually detected if there is a lone transaction that isn’t related to any other transaction
• Sometimes the failure can occur in the first transaction, other times user has a successful first transaction and the 2nd transaction fails

I created a new placeholder repository for this work and copied some info about how it will work to its home page and README: https://github.com/AutarkLabs/open-enterprise-stats

Some simplifications we could make for an initial version:

• rather than entering a contract address, we can hard-code our contract and its abi into the app
• hard-code the time range, rather than making it dynamic

Once we have a version that implements the other features, we can quickly iterate to add these extra niceties
