I'm trying to access Facebook using the login verification code, but the code won't show up!

Please be more explicit. "Code won't show up" ? Show up where ? After you have clicked on the extension to show the codes or do you expect it to be shown automatically in the code textbox on the page ? And what is this related to captcha ?
