macOS Support #39

Bring some level of PAM functionality to the macOS platform.

While this feature request is very popular, Apple has in recent years hardened macOS in ways that make it very difficult for MSPs to deploy and manage any software that would need system rights.

For MSPs that are successfully deploying and managing other "system level" software, what has been your experience?

IMO, without granting permissions manually, it would require an MDM solution to be in place.

Actually, I tested this with Adminbyrequest without an MDM and it does work.

Thanks for the tip @integrid-int we will look into Admin By Request for this, its a shame this isn't roadmapped yet.

Need a mac os version peeps. holy moly. I cant believe this hasn't happened yet.

Lack of this feature (and others) has us considering other options. Regardless of perceived "Mac security", if we can't check this box for certain customers, they may leave us.
