Autodesk Fusion 360 Post Processor Utility Problem #40

Hello,

Since this morning I can't debug code utilizing the extension in VS Code. I removed the extension and installed again, did the same to VS Code. Changed the Folder and WorkSpace to no avail.

Any Ideas? It's really messing with my workflow

Good morning, Is this happening with a specific post-processor, or all posts you try? If it's a specific one, please could you share it here? Also, what operating system are you on?

Good morning George,

In every single post. What I did was rollback the version to v3.5.8 and it solved my issue. Is something wrong with the new version? I use custom cutfiles very often, with the version update I lost all my cutfiles, but if I rollback they appear again...

I'm on windows 10 x64.

Thank you for the information. I will look into what might be causing this. When you say you lost the cut files, do any appear or is the list empty? And are you able to post-process with the properties closed? I'm wondering if the extension is failing to load... Sorry for the issues you are facing! This is the first report I've had about this issue and I appreciate you taking the time to provide me with more information

This is what I'm getting using the v4.0.0: image image image

This is my custom cutfile list showing with the v4.0.0: image

This is my custom cutfile list showing when rolled back to v3.5.8: image

I generate cutfiles directly from Fusion with the CNC Output script.

Sorry, I hit enter before finishing. It might be the extension failing to load on my hardware.. but why? My colleague has the same version is seems to be working fine. He is on W11. The only difference is that I have more extension, for Python etc.

Thank you for your help George. In last resort I'll just burn the hardware 😅
