Export out multiple linked files into one IFC file. #165

Would be nice if we could export out multiple linked files into one IFC file.

What's the advantage of one file?

Hi Angel,

We break up our models into various aspects of the project--shell, common walls, unit files, stairs, structure, etc.

I'm working with @lcpt, a structural engineer, who doesn't have Revit.

I'd like to send him one IFC file with all the models contained within, so he can quickly assess the project. That is, verses sending multiple IFCs.

What is he doing with the IFC file(s)? Is he putting them in a viewer that doesn't coordinate multiple IFC files? Is he looking at it in a text viewer?

Hi.

In can use Blender to open multiple IFC. For now, I use the IFC files simply as a 3D representation of the project.
