Export IFC - IfcWall and IfcWallStandardCase #364

Hello,

REVIT 2020 & IFC 2X3

I am working on revit and when creating the IFC model, I have two IFC categories at the wall level.

IfcWall and IfcWallStandardCase

The problem arises on the data made available by IFC for IFCWall

IFCWall does not give access to "BaseQuantities" unlike IFCWallStandardCase

My question is, is it normal not to have these elements in the IFCWall

Even if we force the classification in "IfcWallStandardCase", we don't find the "basequantities" Is this a problem with the IFC REVIT export engine?

Thank you in advance

SD

I think this is your solution:

I'm having an issue with IfcWall and IfcWallStandardCase what is not related to the solution I gave above. When I use Cut Geometry in Revit in the middle of a wall it exports as IfcWallStandardCase, but when I use it to cut at the top of a wall it exports as IfcWall. Is this a bug or? I'm using Revit 2025.1 with exporter 25.2.0.5. For the BaseQuantities I need it te be IfcWallStandardCase.
