Please see the Node Information is I add it to Homey as an unknown Z-wave device.
We will add basic functionality in the next release.
That's great news thanks. Can you provide any estimates of the date for the next release, and visibility of the features that may be included as "basic" functionality?
Unfortunately we do not have any dates yet but we will minimally try to give everyone as a Xmas present. :)

Especially notifications! ! If thumb-wheel notification could be done it would be great.
Unfortunately basic is just lock and unlock which will definitely work on all models.
We are just blindly adding based on product ID without the physical lock to test. If someone would like to send us a lock to do so, we are more than happy.

For info, I decided to write to Yale in the UK and asked them to send you a lock! I'll see if I get a genuine or interested response out of them. Otherwise I asked them to reach out to you directly. Let's hope they are a fan of IoT and open source development. :-)
And thanks for the first release - I finally got around to some testing on my Connexis L1. The basic (catch all) lock and unlock triggers seem to work, though the "user" and "touchpad" based triggers don't seem to work. I'll update later after more testing and if I find anything different.
The latest update definitely controls the lock. However a couple of issues:
Battery life is now abysmal Lock seems to double unlock when done with Turnbutton inside (ie lock make open sound, the makes it again)... so is homey echoing the lock? (not sure about locking)
The double signal seems to be a Homey v2 thing. I've encountered for another lock. The driver isn't written that way. Trying to get confirmation from Athom on this.
As for battery life, the app doesn't poll the lock at all so I'm not able to trace anything especially when I do not have this lock to test.

I migrated my YDCONL1 locks over from SmartThings and since doing so I get no more than 1 week battery life on both locks. Previously on STs I would get ~3 months+.
I remember this was an issue on STs some time ago (https://community.smartthings.com/t/yale-connexis-l1-battery-change/108227/70) but was resolved eventually. I have the latest z-wave modules and firmware on the locks.
I appreciate you do not have these locks, but is there anything I can provide to help analyse the problem?

Do you plan to add in the near future support for the Yale Conexis L1?

Thanks.
