Co-Author field via the API #1010

Hi! We have an app for the news website. We faced an issue with data fetching through the API - all Co-Authors don't display in the app, as there is no such field, only Authors. Would it be possible to have an update so this data is available via API? Thanks in advance!

I think the work @douglas-johnson is doing in #997 may provide an API endpoint that can be used outside of the block editor.
