Currently, some Simplenote clients support both deleting individual notes from the Trash and emptying the Trash (deleting all notes at once). Other clients only support emptying the trash, so you can't delete individual notes. It would be nice to have parity across the apps for consistent expectations about how to permanently delete notes.
Clients that support both options:
Electron/web
iOS
Clients that only support emptying the trash:
macOS
Android
Why
I sometimes end up with many, many notes in the trash before I think about emptying it. I'm not always confident that I want to delete every note in the Trash (I have the fear that I'll accidentally delete something I wanted to restore). Because I can delete individual notes in some clients, I expect that I'll be able to do that everywhere and it feels like a bug when the option is missing.
