I've added a tagline to dotcompatterns. I'm curious how it appears on the site that doesn't have a site tagline. I guess it remains blank?

Yep, it won't be displayed, just like the logo image. Even if the tagline is empty, the layout doesn't break so I think we should proceed with this one.
