Connecting Jetpack breaks the order of steps #40

When I click "Connect Jetpack" I'm brought to the connect Jetpack screen in JPC. After authorizing the connection things seem to freeze.

As you can see in the screenshot above it says "Jetpack is finishing up the connection" but under my avatar the button says "Return to your site".

When I press "Return to your site" and continue through JPO steps the order gets out of whack and I'm brought back to the Jetpack connection step.

I was not able to reproduce this.

I'll start over from the beginning, sign out of things and start over and see if it is still happening to me

Unable to reproduce as well. @jessefriedman do you still encounter this issue?
