Subscriber Emails: Categories and Tags Missing in Full Text Emails

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Go to Settings > Reading, and set "For each post in a feed, include" to show "full text".
2. Publish a new post with at least one category assigned.
3. Check the new post email sent to subscribers.

What I expected

I expected the post categories to appear in the footer in the email, as they do when "For each post in a feed, include" is set to "summary", and as happens on simple sites (full text and summary).

What happened instead

Categories and tags are not displayed in the email.

In regards to tags specifically, is there a limit to the number that will be displayed in subscriber emails? And was that limit recently introduced?

This may be fixed once WordPress 5.6 is released, thanks to #17838. It may be worth looking at this issue again in a few weeks.

We don't have any limit that I know of, no.

With respect to the tags, this limit you refer to must be new functionality that has been introduced (by Jetpack) in the last few weeks as:

On 27th October, the post I published presented all of the tags as per below:

access-series, #curtis-cup, #english-professional-golfer, #howley-hall,

ladies-european-tour, #let, #let-access-series, #professional-golfer,

rochelle-morris, #woodsome-hall

On 17th November the post I published presented a subset of tags as per below:

aaron-cox, #blackwell-grange-golf-club,

blackwell-grange-junior-golf-academy, #junior-golf,

junior-golf-academy

In both cases the feed setting was set to "full text"

Are we aware of any changes which might have caused that?
