Stats counting on private site while editing pages

Quick summary

On a private site simply editing a page/post causes the view count to increase on the stats page.

Steps to reproduce

PROBLEM: Why is the stats module counting visits from them themselves?

WHAT I FOUND:

The site is private (which means that visits to the site by any admin or invited person will be counted)
However, they say it is counting views when they simple edit a page.

WHAT I DID:

Tried on a test site and it does indeed do that. If I simply edit a page and update it it shows as a visit.

I was able to reproduce this issue on only a Free testing site:

Issue does not seem to occur on any site that has a paid plan, only the Free plan, nor does it appear to be theme specific. I tested on Quadrat Black, Twenty Twenty Two and Pendant and the stats increased with each update I made to the post.
The stats increase using both the Classic View and Default View
