Steps to reproduce

  1. Start with a site that's connected to WordPress.com.
  2. Go to Jetpack > Settings > Modules
  3. Disable the Stats module
  4. Go to the main /wp-admin dashboard.

A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

I would have expected the dashboard widget contents to be updated to remove any mentions of stats, or to include an invitation to activate the Stats feature.

What actually happened

The "Jetpack Stats" widget displays an empty stats graph:
