Good points. I think we'll need to go for some sort of "disclaimer" approach, where we use an asterisk or footnote type thing, and make sure that we're clearly stating in our marketing/support docs that this backup/restore service is not currently available for multi-site installations. @nicoleckohler can help us make sure that's covered in all the new materials.
I'm not sure the best way to handle pieces of the UI where it's relevant; e.g. dashboard cards, settings cards, details in the My Plan page. I imagine we could either go with a disabled UI (with some sort of explanation as to why it's disabled), or completely remove items if they don't apply to the current site (e.g. if viewed on a multi-site). Could you take a look at this piece @MichaelArestad?
@beaulebens that's the plan. I'll document what I find and post ideas to the p2.
I think adding a short section to relevant docs clearly saying this doesn't work on MU sites would be good.
I also like the idea of showing a message if the UI is disabled that points to an anchor link on said support page where more information is available.

MU sites will not be able to use rewind due to technical challenges. We don't mention this anywhere in plans pages or anywhere else really. For now we are just not showing them upgrade banners for the feature, but we likely need to make it clear to MU folks that if they get a JP plan, they will not get this feature. Ideas?
