Sensei causes a link to the Site Editor to appear when a Classic or Hybrid Theme is activated #7081

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install a Classic or Hybrid Theme.
  2. Install any of the following: Sensei, Sensei Pro, Sensei Pro (WC Paid Courses)
  3. Observe that a link to Editor now appears under Appearance.
  4. Note that following this link either produces an error message or a blank screen.

What I Expected

A link to Editor should not be created when a Classic or Hybrid theme is activated.

What Happened Instead

A link to Editor is created.

Hi @masperber. This is by design. We add the Editor link so that Learning Mode templates can be customized by users regardless of theme.

Perhaps we could repurpose this issue for the error message or blank screen that you're seeing? Would you kindly provide more details about how to reproduce that (which themes etc.).
