Bug: missing thumbnails when loading remote images sometimes #375

Copying everything here so it's easier to read this issue here:

When I add a photo from the Free Photo Library, the last thumbnail is empty (doesn't happen everytime, but quite often).

So even though a fix for this issue was merged in we ( @mzorz and myself) decided to leave this issue open because the fix we have is temporary because we haven't found the root cause of this and we are going to revisit this at a later time.
