Spearhead: Date Format set in WP Admin General Settings in not honoured by the theme.

Steps to replicate

• Apply Spearhead theme
• Go to WP Admin > Settings > General > Date Format.
• Change the date format, no matter which format is selected, it will always show date as M j Y
