All block first themes:: Jetpack Portfolio post type is unsupported #5237

Steps to replicate

Users looking to use the block editor and full site editing with a Jetpack Portfolio are currently unable to do so.

  1. Go to WordPress.com > Appearance > Themes > activate a block first theme.
  2. Go to Portfolio ( https://wordpress.com/support/portfolios/ )
  3. Add a new portfolio item

Result

Portfolios are currently not activated.

Expected

To be able to create a new portfolio item using the block editor

@aleone89, I am no longer able to reproduce this. I am looking at a simple site using Twenty Twenty-Two and the portfolios seem to be working just fine.

Could you please re-test and, if the issue is no longer there, mark this as solved? Thank you!
