Blockbase: Forum pages for bbpress not loading content #5313

guys,

I've come back to WP after a decade away, and set up a local test site under MAMP. All good.

I've installed blockbase, and built a child theme, to learn the new editing conventions. Mostly fine.

Now, I'd like the live site to contain a forum, so I've installed bbpress, and created a couple of test forums. Fine as far as the back end is concerned, but all the view links give me a blank page.

I checked the memory allocation in php.ini, and it's already double what the bbpress documentation suggests increasing to - so that isn't the problem.

I activated the twenty ten theme, and the view links show the test forums without any issue - so it isn't a problem with my bbpress install.

Back to the child theme - the view links show a blank page.

Back to the blockbase parent theme - the view links show a blank page.

(I'm using Chrome, but getting identical results in Opera and Safari)

Advice?

(I'm more familiar with WP than with Github, so I hope I'm putting this in the right place. If it should be elsewhere, a specific direction would be far preferable to a bellow of rage.)

Update on the above. Installed WP5.9 and the Twenty Twenty Two theme a couple of days ago. BBPress doesn't work with the new default theme, either. Blank page. (Twenty Twenty One works fine).

I can reproduce this issue on my test site, I will add screenshots for future reference.

When the site is on the Twenty-Twenty One theme, add bbpress plugin and create a test forum. The forum page can be seen as shown below.

However, when you add the Blockbase theme to the site the forum page doesn't load any content as shown below.

TT1 is a classic theme, while Blockbase and TT2 are block themes. This is probably the plugin not supporting block themes or some underlying issue with the editor.
